January Bunco: Rolling-in The New Year

After a month off for the holidays, the ladies of Oaklyn Hills were excited to get together again for the first neighborhood Bunco game of 2010 on January 19. Cathryn opened up her home as hostess for the evening, and Paige helped.

Veteran Bunco player, Tina, won the coveted title of "most wins.

"Brandi and Paige tied for "most losses;" after a roll-off, Paige ended up with the title, which is probably not as coveted... but still fun and marginally profitable!

Cathryn and Cara tied for the "most Buncos" and decided to split the prize money.

And in other noteworthy news, Krystal rolled a record-breaking 5 snakes eyes!

Next month's Bunco game takes place on February 16. Brandi will host, and Tina will be the helper.

RECIPES NEEDED... for our neighborhood cookbook!

The holidays have come and gone, and I'm sure a good majority of us cooked, baked, prepared
and/or devoured some delicious goodies during the last few months. So, don't be shy (or stingy!); share your recipes with the event committee, so we can complete a fabulous Oaklyn Hills Cookbook!

We desperately need YOUR RECIPES to make our cookbook project a success! So copy, e-mail or drop off those go-to favorites for: appetizers, sauces, breads, soups, desserts, microwave quick meals, crockpot dinners, family secrets... and more!

We hope to have our cookbook complete in time for delivery by Mother's Day 2010, so get your recipes to us ASAP! (Proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks will go to the common area, so it’s for a great cause!)
