RECIPES NEEDED... for our neighborhood cookbook!

The holidays have come and gone, and I'm sure a good majority of us cooked, baked, prepared and/or devoured some delicious goodies during the last few months. So, don't be shy (or stingy!); share your recipes with the event committee, so we can complete a fabulous Oaklyn Hills Cookbook!

We desperately need YOUR RECIPES to make our cookbook project a success! So copy, e-mail or drop off those go-to favorites for: appetizers, sauces, breads, soups, desserts, microwave quick meals, crockpot dinners, family secrets... and more!

We hope to have our cookbook complete in time for delivery by Mother's Day 2010, so get your recipes to us ASAP! (Proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks will go to the common area, so it’s for a great cause!)

What's Cookin' at Oaklyn Hills?

The event committee is currently looking into the possibility of creating and selling our very own Oaklyn Hills cookbook, filled with all the best -- and favorite -- recipes of our community! From delicious entrees, soups, breads and delectable desserts to microwave meals, crock pot favorites, family secrets and more!
It would be an exciting group effort, requiring the collection and organization of hundreds of recipes. But the beautifully designed, customized product would also make for a great keepsake and a perfect gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and for the upcoming Christmas holidays! (As well, proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks would go to the common area, so it would all be for a great cause.)
To be successful in our efforts, we need to know YOUR thoughts, and we'd need to get started within the next few weeks.
